Intro
The AgiBot A2-W measures 770 mm (L) x 620 mm (W) x 1,630 mm (H) and weighs 230 kg, reflecting the additional mass of its four-wheel-drive chassis, extended battery capacity, and integrated industrial construction. Its 22 degrees of freedom are distributed as 7 DoF per arm (14 total) for bionic dual-arm reach and manipulation, with a waist that elevates and tilts to expand the working envelope across a continuous height range of 0 to 2,000 mm. The zero-turning-radius wheeled base with crab-walk capability enables precise lateral repositioning at workstations without multi-step manoeuvring, an important feature for factory environments where floor space is constrained. Each arm supports a payload of 5 kg and is equipped with two six-axis force/torque sensors providing multi-dimensional contact awareness for compliant, force-regulated manipulation.
The A2-W's onboard AI perception stack runs at 275 TOPS and executes three proprietary embodied atomic capabilities: UniGrasp for adaptive grasping of diverse object geometries without part-specific pre-training; Uni6DPose for millisecond-level 3D pose estimation enabling accurate pick positioning regardless of object orientation; and UniPlug for end-to-end connector and terminal plugging with contact-sensitive force guidance. The 360-degree LiDAR, four AI vision sensors, and two six-axis force sensors combine for multi-modal environmental awareness and real-time obstacle avoidance with millisecond-level detection latency. The robot's modular atomic capability architecture supports OTA iterative upgrades and continuous expansion of its task skill library as new embodied AI models are trained. The 2 kWh hot-swappable battery provides a continuous runtime of 5 hours, with battery replacement achievable in minutes to support extended shift coverage. The fully integrated chassis, arm, and perception system design allows deployment and commissioning within a single working day.
